Rules
Leagues can be played on either Big Buck Hunter® Pro Open Season™ or Big Buck Safari® Outback™ (exclusive to Big Buck World® game machines). The league will consist of playing an entire adventure of each animal, one animal per week. Open Season is a 9 week league (9 animals = 9 weeks) and Safari is an 8 week league. There will be one day of the week dedicated to be league night. You can play in the league at any time during that day.
Each individual league night works like a one day tournament. There is a leaderboard that keeps track of the high scores for that day. You can play as many times as you would like and your highest score will count. At the end of the day, the league night will end and the game will declare a winner. A prize will be dedicated by the bar/vendor for the nightly winner.
In addition to that, each player will be awarded league points. The winner will receive 35 points, second place gets 28 points, and so on. These league points will aggregate as the league goes on. You will be awarded league points for each league night you participate in. These points add up to equal your League Standings. The player with the highest points at the end of the league (top of the league standings page) will be the grand prize winner and will be awarded a prize. It's up to the bar/vendor to pay these prizes and they can pay out as many places as they would like.
There will be no make up days but in the case that you can't make every week, the league standings will only take into account every players top 7 league points for Open Season and top 6 league points for Safari. Basically we drop your bottom 2 league points (if you make all league nights). That helps if you have a bad week or miss a week. If you only played in 5 league nights, your standings will reflect the points for all 5 of those league nights.
There will be leaderboards on the game for both League Standings and League Nights. You can also find more information at the Player Websites, including standings, leaderboards, scores, prizes, schedule, where to find leagues, and more.
Leagues are set up by the vendor/operator of the game and are location specific (meaning a league can only be set up to be at one place on one night of the week). So if you want a league to run in your bar, let the manager know. They can have the vendor/operator set one up for you. So get out there and become the league leader of your favorite bar!
